In October of 2019, the number of e-residents of Estonia has surpassed the mark of 62 000. The program is most popular amongst Ukrainians, tells the RIA.com Marketplaces OÜ.
By the end of November of 2019, there were 62 707 people registered as e-residents. At the beginning of 2017, this number was only 15 000. From January to October of the current year, the e-residents have paid Estonia 10.8 million euros in taxes, which has become the new record since the establishment of the program.
E-residents from Ukraine over the years are one of the most active founders of enterprises, having created 873 companies.

According to the board member of RIA.com Marketplaces OÜ Artem Umanets, Estonia attracts Estonian IT companies thanks to the local tax system, internet services, and also the agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation between two countries.
RIA.com Marketplaces OÜ manages the leading real estate portal DOM.RIA.com and the car trade portal AUTO.RIA.com.
